Glide Privacy Policy

Glide by AutoSoft Shujaa
Updated 18 October 2026 · app.glide.remote

Glide turns your phone into a keyboard and mouse for a computer you choose. Glide includes Google AdMob banner ads on its connection guide. It has no app account or AutoSoft cloud service.

Remote input
Pointer commands and the text you choose to type are sent to your connected computer. Wi-Fi and USB use an encrypted connection to the Glide companion; Bluetooth uses Android's paired-device connection. The computer's active app receives your input. Glide does not record a typing history or send remote input to AutoSoft Shujaa.

Voice typing is optional
Microphone access is requested when you start dictation. Your phone's installed speech service processes the audio and may send it to its provider over the internet. That provider's privacy and retention policies apply. Glide does not save audio recordings. Recognized text appears for you to review and edit before you send it to your computer.

Advertising
Google AdMob collects and shares IP addresses (which can estimate approximate location), device and account identifiers including advertising and app-set IDs where available, ad and app interactions, and diagnostic information for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention. This data is encrypted in transit. Glide requests non-personalized ads; this does not eliminate all ad-related data collection. Google handles ad data under its privacy policy. Ads appear in the connection guide, away from mouse and keyboard controls. Glide does not pass typed text, microphone recordings, pairing pictures or remote commands to AdMob.

Ad choices and age group
When first opening the guide, choose an age group; this broad age group is stored locally and used to apply age-appropriate ad settings, without sending a birth date. Under-16 users receive under-age-of-consent treatment. Google asks for consent where required before ads load. When available, open Connection guide → Ad privacy choices to change your choices. You can continue using all remote controls without opening the guide or accepting personalized advertising. Android settings lets you reset or delete your advertising ID. Clearing app storage removes local preferences; it does not delete information already held by Google or your speech provider.

Camera and nearby devices
The camera scans your computer's pairing picture. Frames are processed on the phone and are not saved or uploaded by Glide. Bluetooth permissions let you pair with and control your selected computer. Wi-Fi discovery reads nearby Glide computer names and network addresses.

Saved information and deletion
Preferences and paired-computer details stay on your phone. Pairing credentials are encrypted using Android Keystore. Use Manage connection → Forget saved computers to remove Wi-Fi/USB pairings, or clear Glide's storage/uninstall it to remove phone data. Remove Bluetooth pairings in Android settings. On the computer, use Forget phones and remove the companion's local Glide data to clear its saved credentials. Text already sent to another app and data held by your speech provider are managed separately.

Your choices
You can decline or revoke camera, microphone and Bluetooth permissions in Android settings. Only the related feature needs that permission. Glide is intended for people aged 13 and older.
