Your study stays on your device
Bible Unpacked does not require an account. Notes, bookmarks, collections, reading history, searches, game scores, practice progress, plans, settings and saved card designs are stored locally. We do not operate a server that receives this study information. The app keeps a bounded local diagnostic log of feature and advertising events without note text or Scripture selections. Automatic Android backup is disabled.
Children and advertising
Children may read, study and play without advertising. Ads are off by default. Before optional advertising can be enabled, a neutral age question is shown. Only an adult/minor group is stored on the device; the entered age is discarded and is not sent to us. No advertising or advertising-consent requests are made for users under 18 or users whose age is unspecified. Adults can turn ads off in Settings at any time. General-audience ad content is requested.
Optional Google advertising for adults
When an adult enables ads, Google User Messaging Platform checks which privacy choices are required. Ad requests begin only when its consent status permits them. Google Mobile Ads may collect and share IP addresses and approximate location inferred from them, ad/app interactions, diagnostics and device or account identifiers for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention. Advertising-ID and Android AdServices permissions are removed from this app's manifest. Collection depends on Android version, SDK behavior and privacy choices. Google encrypts its SDK data in transit. The app sends no private note text to the ad service. See Google’s Privacy Policy and Google’s advertising privacy information. Eligible adults can use Settings → Advertising privacy choices to manage the choices available in their region. Turning ads off stops new app ad requests; it does not delete information previously held by Google.
Audio, downloads and external websites
Human narration streams from openbible.com only when you play it. The host receives normal connection information, including your IP address and the requested chapter URL. Content downloads similarly contact their stated source. The optional device voice uses an installed offline voice. External research opens your browser and sends the chosen reference or query to that website, which has its own privacy policy. Ordinary reading of included text works offline.
Sharing and backups
Sharing opens Android's share sheet. Only the content you select is offered to your chosen app or recipient; their privacy practices then apply. For minors and users of unspecified age, an online-safety reminder and an adult date-of-birth check are required before each share. That birthdate is used on-device only and is not stored. A parent or guardian can cancel sharing. Do not include personal information in shared notes or images. Exported backups and notes are plain-text files and may contain private study information. Keep them in a trusted location. The Bible Unpacked watermark is always included on shared verse images.
Permissions
Internet/network access supports optional streaming, downloads and advertising. Notification permission is requested only if you enable reading reminders. Files are selected or saved with Android's system picker. The app does not request contacts, microphone, camera, precise location or broad storage access.
Retention and deletion
Local study information remains until you delete it in the app or clear/uninstall the app. Export a backup first if needed. Delete exported files separately in the location you chose. We cannot recover or delete a copy held by your chosen sharing app or backup provider. We have no user account database or remote study profile. Contact admin@autosoftshujaa.com with privacy questions, including a child's privacy question; please do not email private study text or identity documents unnecessarily. For Google's retained advertising data, use Google's privacy controls or contact Google.

We will update this notice when the app's practices change and update the date above. Review this notice after an app update.
